I'm a French (originally), attractive and independent woman. I'm also easy going and always try to be sensitive and honest. I like a good laugh too. I'm quite fit in that I cycle at/outside work (I'm in community care)and I would love to spend some holidays travelling around on a bike. I'm also a keen swimmer into fitness swimming, training at masters/competitive level. I used to practise more greater outdoor activities such as mountaineering, rock climbing and hill walking but I have not had the opportunity to do these lately (I work most week-ends, and my current friends are not so keen). I like skiing too and I used to do a lot of alpine skiing in my teens and 20s, but I'm now more into mountaineering or Nordic skiing as I prefer exploring wilder environments, away from 'civilisation' but with greater human companionship.
So that's the sporty bit.

Otherwise, I like reading; my tastes in music are rather ecclectic though I particularly like contemporary and electro-jazz. I also like cooking anything but French cuisine (!!?) as I much prefer Italian, Mediterranean and Asian food.

I like animals especially cats.

Basically, I'm looking for an attractive, mature and affectionate like-minded person to share some of the above and beyond, and hopefully expand each other's lives. This could start like a friendship and move on to something more serious with the right person. Like Antoine de St Exupery, author of The Little Prince, I like to think that a relationship is where "love is not two people gazing at each other, but two people looking ahead in the same direction", sharing similar values and beliefs.
