2x a widower, and now retired, I live summers in my cabin in the San Juan Islands, WA. Rest of the year I roam the Pacific Coast camping, hiking, sailing, and kayaking ... based mostly out of Morro Bay and San Diego, CA ... some in Hawaii.

I walk/hike 2-3x everyday, usually for at least six miles ... barefoot under favorable conditions as I find the feel of the earth invigorating.

My 2nd wife was 20 years younger than me and we found ourselves well matched physically until she took ill. I am in exceptional health and both branches of family tree tend to strong, alert longevity. For these reasons, I am hoping to meet someone focused on maintaining excellent health - and much younger again.

I am an extremely loyal, quiet, yet quite romantically affectionate, fully functional person, and prefer the same in a very feminine partner who enjoys walking/hiking and camping and paddling.

I do have a clever sense of humor that kept my late wives laughing, as well.
