Im far younger than my age of 72 would lead you to believe. Fortunate genes, healthy eating and an active outdoor lifestyle puts me outside of my age cohort (proverbial unicorn of sorts). Im 510 tall and weigh 160 lbs. Im retired from being a national park ranger/pilot, having spent 25+ years working/flying in Alaskan parks. Currently living in the Black Hills of South Dakota since retiring in 2005. Widowed from a 50-year shared adventure marriage that we were hoping would last for another 20. Im in a bit of a relationship flux at the moment. I'm looking for someone who is OK with a LTR adventure relationship. Looking to travel in search of new adventures, explore places with a new partner that's willing to share the experience with me.
Shared passions, doing things together strengthens that bond and yet there needs to be time and space for each one to explore passions not shared by the other partner. Im going to continue my active lifestyle and plan on living life to its fullest going forward. I am new at this web dating thing and its participants expectations. Im safe, single, clean with a well-groomed short beard. I'm an open book that's easy to read: honest and humble, candid yet discrete, loyal, caring, sharing, easy going, open minded, a great sense of humor and down to earth.
My partner/friend should be an imperfect person who is honest and sincere, communicates candidly their needs and expectations and loves the outdoors. Being down to earth, kind to others, pragmatic and open minded are pluses too.
Here's where my candor/honesty comes in: NOT looking for someone who is self-centered, high maintenance, subject to depression or high drama. No smoking, drug or alcoholic projects for me. I hope youve got a sense of adventure and discovery. Stodgy people in a rut, stuck in their ways and closed minded aren't really appealing to me.
