I am looking for someone who is fun-loving, down to earth, a hoot to be around, who also absolutely adores the outdoors. I'd like to find someone who could be my best friend, all around partner, and great love. If it wasn't already clear, I'm pretty idealistic in nature, but I do try to temper that with a healthy dose of reality. I don't mind being single, I have many goals that keep my to do list well stocked - I enjoy staying busy, but look forward to when that busy time doesn't totally revolve around work. Balance in life is very important to me, as is following my passions, and I am a firm believer that appreciation comes with sacrifice.

I love my work, it's challenging, creative, and fun when I'm in the field. I plan on traveling to as many places around the world to continue my research, but have a special desire to spend a good chunk of time in Africa (probably for a PhD). Ultimately, I'd like to be a part time expat, with a home base here in the states, close to my family in the Northeast. Sorry to say, my time in KY is very much transient - I enjoy meeting new people though, so say "hi!"
