What fun to find an site linking people who love the outdoors. There isn't anyone really close to where I live, but I'm willing to travel for a kayak adventure or hike. I've lived in rural areas all over the US as part of my outdoor career. My sense of adventure has also meant travel to Switzerland hut to hut hiking(3 times), all over Germany, Austria, Greece, France, Costa Rica, Australia, Fiji, Mexico, and hoping for Ireland, Austrailia again, and more. I'm still in pretty good shape and would love to find friend to hike, bike or kayak with, and if a great man just right for me came along I wouldn't fight it! I have a great dog who also joins me for most adventures.
Other activities I pursue include volunteering for my local Farmers Market, volunteering to help at festivals, mentoring younger kids in outdoor careers, gardening, stained glass, weaving, (banjo- but only in the closet), and basically anything outside besides hunting.
