I am an avid outdoorsman who grew up in the country, and doesn't want to give it up. I feel claustrophobic in big cities, but am not against social outings in the concrete jungle. Any time I am not working, or training for work, I am in the wilderness.

I am at home in almost any outdoor setting. Backpacking, expedition offroading (which leads to more backpacking), mountaineering, and related activities are what you will find me doing most often. Though, I am also very much in to fly-fishing and hunting when the season permits.

To some people it may seem a strange thing working all day engineering networks for large corporations, then driving in to the nearest canyon in an attempt to absorb the silence of the desert, view the stars through unpolluted darkness, and call to my only neighbors.. the coyotes. But for me there is no better stress relief than the sweet solitude of places like that. The only thing better would be having someone to share it with.

I am looking for someone who is just as comfortable with the outdoors as I am. Someone I can share my stories with, who will understand my obsession with getting away from everything. I am looking for an adventure partner, with whom I can make new memories, and explore new places.
