I'm a guy who didn't ever really get on the mainstream track. I've spent the last 30+ years as a mountain guide in Alaska, New Zealand and other places. Along the way I've also become a sometimes house builder, woodworker and handyman. Personally I'm pretty self-contained, enjoy a good joke, liked being affectionate and sensuous, liberal although not an activist, will laugh at the strangest things, never seriously depressed, the patience of a stone, and I think, well respected among my peers. Money wasn't ever a big thing in my life but I have my own home, a room full of climbing gear, a great truck and a garage full of woodworking tools.
The greatest thing in my life is that I have a nine year old son. The tough thing is that he lives in California and I spend half the year there with him. This puts a crimp in my social life and any friend/companion would have to work around that.
What I'm looking for is a lady to spend some outdoor and indoor time with. Physical beauty is not important to me, although I have a hang-up about excess body weight. A sense of humor and irony is a big plus as well as a lack of uptightness. It would be great if she already had her own skis and a pack for every occasion. On the other hand, I'm known as a pretty good instructor. And last and quite frankly, if a relationship developed, I would like to see a lack of sexual hang-ups. Hope this all isn't too much to ask for.
