I'm a pretty easy-going, laid back guy, who enjoys long hikes and camping trips with as little gear as possible; if I can't carry it on my back, it's not coming! From Nova Scotia, I've done some scrambling as far away as Colorado, and hope to get Long's Peak in on the next trip (probably next year); there are some nice trails here, and some alright climbs, but nothing really challenging enough for me. I'd like to get more into mountaineering in the next few years.

I'm a blacksmith, and work as a contractor with Parks Canada (the Canadian parks service); I do everything from fixing doors to firing cannons.

I'm hoping I'll find someone who enjoys life, adventure and the outdoors, and couldn't see themselves 'settling down' so much as being comfortably active with someone else.
