I come from a family with a love of the outdoors: I was brought up walking and camping in the mountains. I've worked a couple of winter seasons, and I try to get out snowboarding at least once a winter. I'm also a big fan of driving my car with the roof down, usually to country pubs. I like a wide variety of music; from dance music to chilled out guitar tunes played around a fire. At weekends you'll find me out and about, or cooking for friends at home.

My previous job as a yacht captain has taken me to lots of great places including the US, Caribbean, and all over the Med. Although after living abroad for 7 years I'm happy to be back in the UK, with my own space. Fortunately my new job still allows me to travel and work with boats. Besides my career one of my major goals in life is to build a new house or perhaps rennovate an existing structure, either way it would need to have elements of both old and new.

I'm looking for someone who isn't afraid to try new things and laugh doing them. Someone with an adventurous spirit who can keep me on my toes, but grounded at the same time! If this sounds like you and you could put up with my occasionally bizarre sense of humour and dancaholic tendancies it would be great to hear from you.
