I love being outdoors but I'm not the kind of person who can just sit on a rock. I need to be doing something, so whether it be multi-day hikes or sleeping out. This year I began fishing and that allows me time to sit and enjoy the quiet. I love a good road trip and learning about the surrounding areas. I've taken up photography and especially the night's sky or wildlife photography.

I love being on the sea and have worked on it a reasonable amount. I am drawn to colder climates.

My life has been very much about doing what I want to do when and if I have a dream I then just find a way of making that happen. I have now got to the stage where I want to share adventures with someone (always been happy to do this on my own before).

In the summer I play softball and throughout the year I play ice hockey and thoroughly enjoy watching it too.

I'm living in Northern Finland at the moment and am looking to connect with people on here first of all and getting to understand their motivations and values. I will be returning to the UK and then deciding on an area or country to live in.

I'd like to connect through chatting for a while before meeting up, mainly because I'm somewhere very remote but also I don't think a tinder-like approach is right for me.
