As a former Captain for a major airline, flying International routes, the view at 41,000 feet is spectacular, however, slowing down and seeing things from ground level is much more interesting. Outgoing, adventurous, and with a sense of humor, I enjoy the outdoors, hunting, camping, fishing, hiking horseback riding, and exploring old towns and settlements. I have spent 5 years in Idaho exploring the Cambridge area, Oxbow parts of Western Oregon along Highway 95 and 71. I am in the process of selling off 130 acres and the custom home I built, to peruse no areas, perhaps in the Bend Oregon region. I will maintain my home in Orange County, CA. as a retreat to civilization when and if the need should arise. I would like to find someone (woman) that enjoys the same interests.

I take life a little slower these days, so I can stop to smell the roses and appreciate more of what I have taken the time to see. Should I have to pick up the pace, I can keep up with the best of them, and am not afraid to take that extra risk to see what is on the other side of the mountain?
