I love animals and nature, and hope to find someone who feels the same! I have a master's in communications and work in public information for the U.S. Forest Service. My hobbies include horseback riding, karate, ballroom dancing, hiking, camping, animal care, reading, and arts & crafts. I'll go biking or kayaking occasionally too. I like visiting parks, museums, zoos, aquariums, and historic sites, and I want to buy a small camping trailer for travel. I'm also a little nerdy; I like Star Trek and collecting vintage toys, and I enjoy NPR, PBS, and documentaries along with more mainstream movies, shows, and occasional plays. Last year I bought a Rocky Mountain Horse named Chief and want to live on a hobby farm. I like rock and country music, and my username is a reference to a John Denver song. Politically, I'm independent, but lean left. I'd consider myself somewhat spiritual, but I avoid organized religion. I've never been married and don't have kids.
