Im someone who likes to travel, expierence new things, seeks thrills, likes to live outdoors, and would rather spend my time and money abroad and travelling the world than settling down and buying a house - that can come later. Life is for living and its so much easier get away and travel when your young.

Im always coming up with stupid ideas like driving a clapped out VW Beetle across South America or an auto Rickshaw the length of India. I would like to walk the full length of the great wall of China, canoe around the British isles, live in the Himalayas, cycle from London to Athens, drive to outer Mongolia...

When im not out and about I love to spend time in a nice pub or a chilled out late bar with my friends rather than nightclubs. I love listening to music and enjoy live music. Im currently working my way through David Bowies back catalogue, but also like Pink Floyd, Arcade Fire, British Sea Power, Joy Division, Dylan, the Stooges, Nick Drake, Pete Seeger, Beethoven etc.

I watch a lot of films, probably too many, including strange films with subtitles and prefer films that are not immediately obvious and require some thought to make sense of things. I love to spend time cooking and see it as the end of my working day when I get home and start cooking a meal. I love getting together with my friends at the weekend, spending an afternoon cooking something that doesnt look anything like it does in the recipie book, eating steak and cooking odd looking fish from the market. I really enjoy taking photos and my camera encourages me to go to new places and find opportunities for taking pictures.

Im a spontaneous person and I like the places where it takes me. I have quite a dry sense of humour and am amused by and observe the stupid day to day things in life.

I would like to meet someone who wants to spend time travelling around and expierencing as much as possible, someone who also has good ideas for trips, someone with ambition and likes to try new things, someone who appreciates a dry / sarcastic sense of humour, someone whos kind and loves to laugh at the stupidity and randomness of life.
