Hi!
I'm Cory Turner. I'm a very friendly person. I get along with pretty much anyone under the sun though some types better than others. I am open to always having a fun time and enjoy having deep and light conversations about anything. I enjoy spending my time laughing and making ones around me laugh. I'm sarcastic, laid back, realistic and at the same time goal oriented.
I'm happiest while hiking with a good friend on a trail in the mountains, walking across SF from BART to the Golden Gate and back, chasing an old friend down the slopes of Kirkwood, sitting by a campfire singing "I'm An Anarchist" by Against Me, walking around for hours with a 10 lb bag on my back (ultralight backpacking) searching for hidden features in Yosemite's backcountry.
I enjoy in no particular order snowboarding, golfing, automotive racing (at real race tracks only), restoring vintage race cars, surfing (trying to anyways), body boarding, sitting on the beach, sitting in the snow, climbing, bouldering, fishing, listening/dancing to music soberly, karaoke when I've had a few! I try to travel at least once a month and I would most likely want to spend a weekend camping during the summer. I am an avid hiker and enjoy pushing myself doing so. I've begun bouldering and am sorta hooked.
I'm working a M-F 3pm-11:30pm at a distribution center, nothing exciting but I have the weekends off and am working towards getting into management. I'm taking classes online through Oregon State. My eventual goal in life is to be able to help restore valuable natural resources that we destroyed back into their original states. I'm currently taking classes towards an Environmental Science BS with an emphasis in Environmental Policy.
